Another One!

 Another One!

Ok, this is two in a row for crazy days! Have not been able to hook up the internet for Spectrum, so the young neighbor promises to come help me. The phone is now working on Spectrum, however. That’s one out of two. The dogs have had their nails cut, even though Sylvia slipped her harness and nearly got away from me. Thought Thompson was going to go OVER me to get out of the truck! The two techs helped and got them inside the office, but then the old woman could not find her keys!! Crazy lady. They had slipped down between the seats in all the hubbub. At least they were there where they could be found. Meanwhile Clint called and figured out that no one was home in my house. Then Sharon called and had to hear that she would get a return call—have tried, but her voice mail is not set up. She is probably either in the bath or asleep after all the stuff she had to do for the past three days. As for this post, if Clint can’t get the Spectrum thing to work, will just reattach the lines for Pinnacle until a tech person can come out to get things going. The directions said something about plugging one cable into the computer. Strange. Oh well. Whatever it takes. Whew!

Just had a bowl of chicken salad with fresh cucumbers chopped up with apple, spinach dip, peppered sweet and spicy pickles chopped up, some salad dressing, and a bunch of appetite! Good stuff, Manard! If you don’t recognize the Manard G. Krebbs reference, look up Dobby Gillis and his side kick who would not eat vegetables. SO much like my oldest grandson and out—er—son-in-law. Some folks think they have eaten a vegetable if they eat fries with their hamburger—with maybe a piece of lettuce and no tomato or pickles!!! Honestly! Some good broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, snap peas, and a bit of lettuce (or not)—those qualify as veggies.

Crud buckets!! Have to wait until tomorrow for the Spectrum tech to install a cable. Kinda thought that was the case, but two or three people said that it just took putting three things together. One last man said, “See the cable that comes in your house?” This house was built in 1951. Any cables have come from Pinnacle in the past few years, not Spectrum. Co-axil what? Oh well. Jenn will post for me tonight that there will BE NO POST. Maybe tomorrow night. And the old woman forgot which cable went where for the Pinnacle boxes. Sigh.

Enough for now. This old woman feels pretty pooped.

Ahhh. Using phone for hotspot!!

Be patient because God is patient and loves us!
