Relief from Stressors.
Other than seeing the news about Angel’s grandson and a
little bit about Raye (Diann Dennis’ granddaughter), the old woman has not been
paying much attention to anything. Yep, just goofing off again. Maria left the
house nice and clean, and the dogs have been kind enough not to self-destruct more
than two stuffed toys. Not too much to do on that front.
Went to Sutherland’s earlier to get some WD-40 and some
fruit from their fruit sale. Good stuff! Had asparagus for lunch and sweet
potato for din-upper. Plenty of water to wash down a pain pill, too. Honestly
think that pain pills should come attached to a quart of water to be sure the
effects on one’s kidneys are not too drastic. Whew! Getting too old to pick up
a 66-pound-dog! But at least they got her toenails trimmed up a bit.
Meanwhile, life goes on whether or not we think we
understand it or not. All this old person can do is hope that God will grant us
peace of mind and hope in His kingdom. May our children and grands be safe and
secure and learn how to have faith in God. May we not find fault with others
but appreciate that God forgives us daily as we ask for forgiveness. Let us
pray for one another and all of those in our circles of love. Healing, a calmness,
a quiet acceptance of life for now is something we all must seek. May love be a
blessing both to you and from you all.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
