Unexpected Shtuff.
Roger has kindly agreed to meet me over at Texoma Fleet
Repair so that the AC in my truck can get whatever needs to be done finished
before the REAL heat gets here. It would be nice if they could just put in freon,
but usually something that leaks out has a way of doing it again. Considering
that nothing has needed to be done to the AC since we bought it in 2001, the
old woman will not gripe about it needing a bit of help.
Had been saving up eggs for one of the kids to come up, but
Reece’s roommate got covid, so the entire family has been exposed. Oh! JOY to
the world! Love my kids, but do not need anything else right now. As it is,
have not been feeling all that great today. Think this is known as “draggin’ the
rear” fever.
Gregg and Vickie will be here sometime tomorrow to pick up
eggs. And Gregg said he would look at the drain pipe that came loose in the
back. Not sure what caused it, but do not like water in the beds back there.
Zupkus finally told Max and Laisha that he would cut the
grass Monday. Certainly hope he does a good job. But really wish that he would
not let it get four feet tall before he cuts it. Blake said he would cut it for
$250 right now and then $200 every three weeks after that. Johnson grass is a
mess! Makes decent hay, but otherwise it is not much punk.
Honestly don’t want to know where the big planes are being
sent or where the nuclear fallout shelters are. It’s not that there is anything
an old woman can do to change things. My prayers are that my actions and
thoughts will be pleasing to God. Not much else matters where any actions an
old person can do will change anyone’s life. Trust God; trust His Word.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
