Heavy Drinking!
Just water. Every time the old woman fusses about having
muscle cramps, Jennifer is sure that it is caused by dehydration. Possible, but
every effort to consume enough H2O makes me feel that it is something else. At
least the surgeon’s office was good to renew the muscle relaxer prescription.
Sister-in-law is going to have to have a surgery to repair a
hiatal hernia soon. Sterling says that the healing time is calculated at months
of juice and Jello. Doesn’t sound like much fun even assuming the first week after
the surgery does not make life pretty miserable. Have never spoken to anyone
who has had this type of repair, but it does not sound as easy as replacing a
knee. And Jello doesn’t really have much to commend it in my books. Would
appreciate your prayers for Jacqui as she prepares for this surgery and for the
success that is needed.
We got some needed
rain last night and still have a considerable amount of cloud cover. Walking
out to the mailbox this morning, two lovely bluebonnets were putting on leaves
in the seams of the walkway. Love that the seeds just seem to sprout wherever
they find dirt. God’s grace is like that, too. It sprouts in all the right
places. Let us pray that our hearts are sprouting with His love right now.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
