Opinions and Tangle.
You’ve all heard the saying that opinions are like a certain
bodily orifice and that everyone has one. Yeppers. It does seem to be the case.
Have not read much online except an article on Tangle about Israel and how
biased the coverage has been all during this siege/war. The one opinion—and maybe,
other than what the Bible says about Israel—that matters to me is that the
nations around Israel never thought that the nation had any right to exist in
the first place. Now, is that in any way a type of kindness or acceptance of
others? Not in my book. In fact, in 1967 in a sophomore government class out at
MSU, our (Egyptian) professor had some very tacky things to say about Israel
during the war. Guess who had read Exodus by Leon Uris and totally disagreed
with the professor! The one test we had included a short essay. Yes, made a C
in that class. Sitting here laughing to myself.
No matter what mankind plans, we know that whatever happens
will be because God allows it to happen. Whether it is horrible storm systems
that tear up the states along our coasts, droughts, floods, or other weather-related
problems, all these things are allowed. Truly, Satan’s actions are sometimes
allowed despite our prayers, but we keep asking for protection and
intervention. In my estimation, the same prayers apply not only to our nation
but to Israel as well. Let us pray for President Trump and those who are
serving under him that the decisions will be wise and the outcomes will be
better for every life.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
