Internet Problems.
As if anything else can go sideways around here, today it is
the internet. Amazing how much the old woman depends on seeing her email,
headlines, and things like birthdays on FB. Oh well.
Haven’t accomplished much today. Got the living room cleaned
up yesterday and rearranged, and now the dogs are getting used to the
arrangement. You’d think that was no biggie, right? But a new bed for Thompson
came today, so they have been taking turns lying down on it.
Ok, (yes, Daniel, I rebooted) my internet is now working.
Spectrum has some nice folks to text or talk to one, but it still is annoying
to have things go south for no reason. Such is life.
Not being able to get online today may have been a blessing.
Took it easy and did not walk more than absolutely necessary. Yesterday was
probably enough. Used the heavy vacuum that Jenn got for me because it really
picks things up good. Ran it over the sections of carpet in both the living
room and kitchen, so those were at least not messy with stuff. The dogs have a
habit of taking the “good stuff” off their kibble and dribbling it on the piece
of carpet under their bowls. Can’t just dust mop that stuff. Deep sigh.
Patty and the old woman were talking about how God decided
before we were born about what He planned for us to do in our lifetimes. She
said that must be the only reason she is still alive—she has something still
that He wants her to do. Understand pretty much what she means and agree. Can
think of several situations that should have been the end of this ol’ gal. And
still, here we are. Praying that what He wants done will be done with the best
attitude possible. May we all please Him and be a blessing for others.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
