Hayfever?
Ok, the stupid plum and the dadgummed Bradford pear are
trying to bloom. Do you suppose those two alone are making my eyes tear up and
my nose feel full? Maybe it is just time to take an allergy pill and keep on
trucking. Whatever.
So, reading in the book by Max Lucado, he uses slightly
different words, but basically what we are is pretty much put there by God. Each
of us it meant to be a help to others. I Cor. 12:7 (below)
“Each person is given something to do that shows who God is:
Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out
by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people! 7 But to each one is given the
manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal.”
May we each realize what the times are currently bringing
forth into this world. And may we do our best to help others in whatever way is
meant to be.
Looking forward to seeing my daughter tomorrow if nothing
rips, rears, or ravels. Miss my kids pretty much all the time, but sometimes
more than others. It will be stormy tomorrow, so will be praying for a safe
trip for Jenn and Gary. The traffic on 287 gets heavier all the time. Guess
that is how it will be from now on.
Saw our president having a news conference today. He is so
very aware of what these times mean in history. It makes me wonder if he is one
of the few who actually realize that he is allowed to do what God will have him
do. Someday this world will understand why God gave us this man at this
particular time. But for right now, I am just very thankful and pray for his
wisdom to be in line with what God would have him do.
Enough thinking for one day. Maybe life will be different
soon when we realize that each day is a gift.
Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
