My friend Beth Graf told me to start with the INTRO to Genesis when reading or watching these lessons. SO glad that she said that. It does make a difference in how we perceive the works. Anyway, will try to give you a link to these lessons. The old woman intends to read through all of them eventually. Watching videos does not “take” for me as well as reading the words, so reading is my preference. Lesson 1 - Genesis Introduction - Torah Class

 

Went to the feed store this morning and picked up wheat and lay mash for the girls. Then they got to clean up the dog food bowls because neither dog liked the beef stuff that was put on top of their kibble this morning. Sigh. Oh well. At least it was not wasted.

 

Got out the weed eater and did a very small area out front near the road. Might do more later, but probably not today. Just have a tendency to wear down rather quickly. How the work ever got done around here before is amazing to me now. But strength was more available back years ago.

 

A short nap later: guess it takes more than strength to get things done around here. At least nothing is all that critical at the moment. Spoke with Patty and then Sterling this morning and then had to speak with both of these dogs. They are just as lazy as the old woman, it seems. Noticed that we left the long coop looking somewhat “damaged” by our removal of the possum, but that will not be rearranged until the notion hits. Sigh.

Have not looked at any headlines today for the sake of my sanity. No matter how we feel about his personality or anything else, we are told to pray for those in positions of authority over us for the sake of peace. God puts men in these positions. We just do our best to live with their decisions. So, the old woman will be praying for the safety and wisdom of President Trump. He is not in it to make a fortune like some of these politicians. May God bless him.

 

Let’s hope that we learn something from the Torah lessons from Tom Bradford. After all, the only scriptures ever quoted by Jesus Christ were from the Old Testament. The NT did not even exist at that time. Let us open our minds and let the Spirit of God lead us in the way we should go.
