Storms.

 Storms.

May be an image of tornado, map and text

Was rather busy this morning taking Sylvia to PETS clinic to see if they wanted to cut her nails, but they showed me that it really was not necessary. So, we had one trip to the vet that did not leave her terribly upset. There we go!

Jennifer sent me the picture above to tell me what to expect tonight. Have my “go bag” packed with extra clothes, meds, and ammunition. Ya never know what you will need. Cooked dog food for the dogs and one pan for me. Pretty good stuff—beef, rice, and green beans with some curry powder sprinkled over mine. Not sure the dogs would care for that stuff, but it appeals to me.

Guessing that this ol’ woman will put both dogs in the truck later after the hens are put in their coops. Then we will drive down to Patty’s to spend the night in the basement. Taking a stool for sitting for me and maybe a blanket or a bed for my dogs. Right now, the wind is only about 20 mph and gusting. But it is supposed to be 60 mph tonight. We may have chickens scattered from here to Clay County or Montague. Just have to pray that God will protect everyone. Really don’t want to have to go to the basement. Decisions, decisions. Common sense and my thinking don’t quite mesh. Patty at least has a good place in her hallway. But I worry about my across-the-street neighbors. That house is supposed to be well anchored, but this is Texas.

Still reading about Revelation in Lehman Straus’ work. He is so much easier to read than the book itself. The terrors to come are simply horrifying. How could anyone not believe in God? Let us pray for our children and all our nation. Fires, floods, storms and earthquakes are busy making life harder each day. May we all be protected and find a way to praise God!

Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
