Just spoke with my brother Sterling about the world and all its craziness. And they got their bucks back from Washington--$600 apiece. Checked mine to see if something had shown up, and it had. We both cussed and discussed the fact that we are sending billions to countries that don't even like us to study how they react to being considered sexist or whatever. Good grief, Gertrude! And then Sterling mentioned that they want to cut back on SS checks because all us old duffs and doddering old women are not contributing to society. Argh! Some old folks would be better off in prison so that they would at least get three meals a day and a warm blanket. And Covid is not any worse there than in the local hospitals. This is not going to be a good day to express my disgust with some situations.
The hens are laying. My dogs are happy. The sun was shining today. Slept all night last night and hope to again tonight. Tomorrow might see the floors get mopped, maybe.
Hope the rest of you are in a better mood with life than this old, good for not much woman! Let's remember to thank God for all He has given us.
