Ridged Cheddar and Sour Cream Potato Chips.

Did the title make you hungry? Knew they were still in the pantry, but just kept waiting until the REAL urge set in that could not be ignored. You know how it is: hungry, not really. Snacky? Definitely! And yes, quite tasty.

Yesterday the new feeder came from Amazon. Today the water bowl was in the post box along with some other stuff including a book called The Culprit about a guy and his cat. We will see how that turns out. The print is fairly large, so that should help. And the hens already are using the feeder.

Got a message from a friend of Hanan's who has ducks and hens. She needs to find a home for them for some reason. I sent her a message to be sure it was not just the expense of feeding them. She has not got back to me yet. She said she gave away all her goats except for two. For sure don't need any goats around here. They would expect to come sleep inside the house with the dogs!!

Another message from a minister said that we could expect martial law anytime now. Not too sure about that, but have stocked up the hen house and my own pantry. Filled up the gas tank on the truck. Never go anywhere anyway, but have enough shotgun shells to make a few holes in the sky--or wherever. Have enough dog food to take care of these two for well over a month. If the electricity and natural gas don't stop, this place should be ok. The only problem that concerns me is lack of communication. Apparently that has already taken a hit. My favorite historian, Tara Ross, is trying to use different platforms other than FB. If you don't find me on FB, you can find me on Blogger. So far my phone works just fine.

Have three dozen eggs for my doctor or her nurse, and one of  them will come by tomorrow to pick them up. I hope that they appreciate the chocolate eggs! Those things just make me smile! Went out to check on them this morning and one Maran and one Barred Rock were BOTH in the same nest side by side. Funny critters.

Put ribs on to cook early this morning and enjoyed them despite the drooling dogs. If you ever see me and both pants legs are soaked around the knees, you can make a wild guess that the dogs wanted whatever the old woman was eating. Just pathetically starved dogs--NOT!

Stopped by Tractor Supply and picked up a hoe. Had ordered a hoe and leaf rake, but the things he put in the back of my truck were children's toys. He took them back inside and got me a REAL hoe. Cost a little bit more for that one, but it is a good one. Their advertising was NOT clear at all. Should have known from the price that something was wrong! Oh well.

Have been reading up on all the different kinds of vaccines that have been developed by companies in other countries. It is amazing that they have come up with a nasal spray that can prevent the virus rather than cure it. But you have to use it every day. The spray is safe to use, however, and won't make anyone sick. That is definitely a plus! Not so sure about the various injections they have currently. Oh well.

Really don't know much today. Have talked to a couple of people about things in this world. Conclusion: God is in charge.

May you all rest well and find peace. You are loved.
